What makes the star Alpha Centauri appear to be yellow-white??

The Alpha Centuri star looks yellow-white because it has the same spectral type of G2 as the sun. Alpha Centauri A also looks yellow-white because it is much hotter than Alpha Centauri B, which is yellow-orange.
